of the 7th International Specialized Trade Fair for Garden Tools and Equipment
GARDENTOOL-2013

The 7-th International Specialized Trade Fair for Garden Tools and Equipment GARDENTOOL-2013 took place March 11-14, 2013 at Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow. The exhibition was organized by Euroexpo. In 2013 the show took place under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

GARDENTOOL was certified as an “UFI Approved Event”, testifying its high level of organization and recognition of its significance by the world exhibition community.

GARDENTOOL — is a unique specialized trade fair of tools and equipment for ground-maintenance of gardens and parks in Russia. Starting from 2007, Gardentool has annually gathered the leading producers, distributors, retailers and wholesalers, chain and specialized stores, landscaping plants, garden and landscaping centers, nursery gardens. The event is a meeting place for the business community and their ultimate customers, making it an effective communication tool. On the one hand, buyers can receive a complete idea of the offer existing in the market, and producers can communicate with the whole range of their clients — from distributors to end users.

This year 120 companies from Belarus, China, Germany, Israel, Italy, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Russia and USA showcased their latest achievements and products on 4600 sq.m.

Such companies as Bellota Herramientas SAU, Blount Briggs & Stratton, Fams+, Fox Motori S.R.L., Instrum-Agro, Kwazar, Prorab, Ratioparts, TechnoGroup, Techstroi (Elmos) were among the key participants of the exhibition.

According to the figures the exhibition was visited by ca. 4000 visitors. Dealers, wholesalers, chain and specialized stores, landscaping plants, garden and landscaping centers, nursery gardens were among them. Briggs & Stratton sponsored the visitors' registration.

An interesting and rich parallel program is another key feature of the Gardentool exhibition.

On March 11 ProfiTool organised two seminars. Yuri Shklyarevskij, brand director of a wholesale company Optimist, told about the principals of integrated assortment building in a retail store. Dmitri Somov, head of www. ProfiToolInfo.ru information portal, held a workshop on «How a small retail store can compete with big retailers and hypermarkets».

Techart marketing group invited the guests of the exhibition to attend a workshop «Strategic planning of advertising activities in the Internet» where the experts shared some secrets of efficient advertising campaigns.

On March 12 Мokselle Group held a series of seminars. Those who attended the workshop «Wholesaling: 7 ways to increase sales» learnt about the basic principles of marketing. The experts explained how to increase the sales, develop your chain and build strong relationships with you customers at the workshop «Retailing 2.0 — scheme of sales doubling».

Experts from PROTEGE Group presented a review of the international garden tool market and trends for Russia in the workshop «Development trends of gardening tool market in Russia».

The guests of the MOTUL workshop learnt about its history and products.

On March 13 Briggs & Stratton held a presentation of its products within a workshop «Development trends of Briggs and Stratton engines up to 2015».

Each year the organizer of the exhibition, Euroexpo company pays great attention to the quality improvement of exhibition service for the participants and visitors.
